This black and white portrait of a bobcat was formed from a geometric foundation of vesica pisces and the golden ratio using techniques like stippling, hatching, and detailed linework. Bobcats feed on small prey such as lizards, rabbits, birds, snakes, and even the occasional shark! They are elusive and private animals, sticking to their territory and bouncing among one of several dens located throughout it as they make their rounds. As a symbol, bobcats represent self-reliance, tenacity, intuition, and perception. 
 
The original drawing is acid-free, archival ink on 100 lb bristol paper (17" x 14" | 43 cm x 36 cm). Hand drawn in 2023 by Sarah Skiold-Hanlin.
