This black and white, male bighorn sheep portrait captures the integrity and wisdom of the animal. The image was formed using a geometric foundation of vesica pisces and the golden ratio using techniques like stippling, hatching, and detailed line work. The horns represent his age and some males can have large curled horns that weigh up to 30lbs (14 kg). As a symbol, the ram represents fertility, virility, strength, and determination. 
 
The original drawing is acid-free, archival ink on 100 lb bristol paper (24" x 18" | 61 cm x 46 cm). Hand drawn in 2023 by Sarah Skiold-Hanlin.
